Thomas Eisfeld’s time with Fulham is over with the former Arsenal midfielder allowed to leave for VfL Bochum on a permanent basis.

Signed from Arsenal last summer he was handed seven first-team appearances last term before a loan move to the German side in February to end the season with them.

He’s now had it confirmed on fulhamfc.com he’s made the move to them a permanent one.

I’m sure you’ll join me in echoing the views of the Whites when they said ‘everyone at Fulham would like to wish Thomas all the best for his future career.’

Now to those rumours that Fulham owner Shahid Khan ‘has rubbished’ about an interest in Tottenham!

It’s been reported part of his ‘bigger picture’ plan with his NFL side Jacksonville Jaguars was to get them to play at a new 60,000-seater stadium that will house Spurs from 2018 and this would see him ‘call it quits’ with Fulham in order to complete a takeover at the Premier League club to make that happen!

Not only has he told the Times this isn’t true, he’ll quit Fulham and look to buy Spurs, he’s also said he’ll honour an agreement with Wembley Stadium to see NFL games hosted at the national stadium until 2030, as per an agreement.

He said.

‘You can’t correct every rumour, but I was surprised and had to consider the morale of the people at Fulham and the people at Wembley, so we called them out on it.

‘It’s [the growing popularity of the NFL in England] been beyond expectation, we’ve seen a dramatic shift

‘Wembley has been a big part of this. It’s a world-class national stadium. Now it’s, ‘How do we make the Wembley NFL experience even better?”

The end of that one then?
