After signing seven new players it`s perhaps inevitable that some familiar faces will now be sold on.
One of those is Collins John. According to a leading Sunday tabloid, the Liberian striker has caused something of a rift in the dressing room with his attitude.
In an article that carries quotes, attributed to a club source (quite who is never disclosed) the tabloid paints a very poor picture with regards to Collin`s future.
Indeed, the quotes, such as,
“They are very keen to get rid of John. They`ve made strenuous efforts to do so.”
“He has the odd sulks and upset a few people. The other players don`t all get on with him.
“They don`t like his attitude in training.”
Would all seem to indicate that the future looks pretty glum for the striker who scored one goal in twenty-five games last season.
That is until you take a step back and recall this very same group of newspapers have had to make very public retractions of articles they`ve printed about other sportsman such as Andriy Shecvhenko and Audley Harrison.
Collins may not be long for Craven Cottage but does he deserve treatment of that level?
