When Liam Rosenior was on our books I always had high hopes that he`d be a mainstay of our squad for years to come.
I can recall his enthusiasm to play, on a regular basis, was only curtailed by a touch of the vomiting in one place, but like most of the things I want, a long stay for Liam didn`t materialize.
Now 28, Liam has carved out a more than respectable career in football, with the defender being a mainstay of the Hull City side that earned promotion back to the Premier League last season.
As a reward, Liam looks se tot be given a new contract by Steve Bruce and, like others I hope, will be part of the team that takes us on, on two occasions next season.
It`ll certainly be interesting to see how warm a reception he gets when he returns to Craven Cottage with the Tigers!
