Jimmy may not have played any part in our fixture against West Ham but his name remains very much in the news.
With several clubs, Arsenal and Bolton to name but two, showing interest in the midfielder, Clint Dempsey has spoken out about the need to keep Jimmy by remarking,
“It`s important we keep our best players.”
“Jimmy`s a guy who makes people laugh off the pitch. But on it, he gets around the field well and is a very good passer of the ball – we want to keep him.”
“He`ll be a big miss if he goes. We have a good team, an effective group, and want to make the most of this team.”
Once again we suggest it`ll come down to that old chestnut – money!
