Dempsey Still to Sign!

The vultures circling and contemplating swooping to take Clint Dempsey away from Craven Cottage are giving Martin Jol sleepless nights.

Dempsey has yet to accept Fulham`s offer of new terms prompting Jol to comment,

“We`re talking to him and hopefully we`ll get it right.”

“If you`ve a year to go, it`s hard to keep someone – even if you want to.”

“You can keep him on that deal until it finishes but of course that`ll be a difficult situation for everyone.”

“So hopefully that`s the main priority, that`s what I want to focus on. Can we keep him? We`ve made him a good offer and if not we must wait and see until the summer.”

I think the suspense will give us all a few sleepless nights!
