Could the Clint Dempsey to Liverpool fiasco finally be about to be sorted!

After what seems like a lengthy delay after Liverpool first expressed an interest in signing the USA international, the latest inference from the tabloid press is that Brendan Rodgers is looking at off-loading Charlie Adam and Jay Spearing to provide the funding for the Dempsey deal.
