The future of young Moussa Dembele generated a few column inches this Easter weekend.

The exciting forward who almost joined Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window, with the move only collapsing after Spurs wouldn`t let Dembele return to Craven Cottage on loan for the rest of this season, is, so it would seem, set to leave Fulham Football Club this summer.

However, having been linked with a plethora of clubs it looks as if Dembele has a desire to return from whence he came – Paris Saint-Germain.

Talking to the French news source L`Equipe, Dembele is quoted as having remarked,

“Like every Parisian, I dream of playing for PSG. Why could it not happen some day? If they want me…

“I left in 2012 when Ibrahimovic and Lavezzi joined the club. I would have gotten little playing time. PSG were not counting on me.

“I know that some players have gotten their chance since, like Jean-Kevin Augustin, but I preferred to leave and try my luck elsewhere.”

It`ll be interesting to see whether Dembele gets his desire.
