As the January transfer window approaches, it`ll be interesting to see who those in charge of transfer affairs bring to Craven Cottage.

Already some names are being intimated with, today, the name of Phil Bardsley being prominent.

Bardsley, on the books of Sunderland, appears to be back in favour with Gus Poyet, after falling out-of-favour with the previous manager, Paulo Di Canio.

However, the rumour-mill suggests that the twenty-eight year old defender could still be available for transfer due t an ongoing contract situation.

But, I`m asking for a response on this, is Phil Bardsley the type of player Fulham need to get out of the mess we`re currently in?

Your views would be greatly appreciated!
