Deal For Defender Signed, Sealed And Delivered

|

Earlier this week, we covered the speculation linking the Arsenal defender, Calum Chambers, with a move to Craven Cottage.

Our article, Click Here, covered how all the indications were that the deal was a done deal with both Arsenal and Fulham agreeing on a season-long loan deal.

This morning, we are able to confirm that the deal has been completed and Chambers becomes the seventh new arrival, at Craven Cottage, this transfer window.

Chambers, 23-years-of-age, on talking about the move, is quoted by the BBC, as having remarked,

“I watched a lot of Fulham last season, I really like the way they play football.

“There’s a good manager, it’s a great club, so I’m really excited for the season ahead.”

And so are we Calum, so are we.

The signing of Chambers will provide added depth to the squad as the Cottagers face a season that is full of expectations as far as the support goes. Hopefully, the defender will play a key role in our quest to do more than just survive upon our return to the top-flight of English football.
