Kick-off is fast approaching, it`s almost time to leave for Craven Cottage, but before I do I`ve chosen to print some words uttered by Roy Hodgson, on the eve of the fixture.
Words that should act as a rallying-cry and show the magnitude of the achievement that waits us, if it all goes to plan, this afternoon.
Take it away Roy,
“To beat United at any time is a tremendous achievement.”
“It`d be really good result for us, one that would send ripples throughout English football.”
“Even people who have followed us for years won`t have gone home too many times and said we`ve beaten United.”
“There won`t be too many results like that in living memory and that`s a great motivation for us.”
COYW – Go for it!
