Cottagers Set To Bring Defender To Craven Cottage On A Loan Spell

|

Yesterday, we covered the suggestion, Click Here, that Fulham, if Slavisa Jokanovic had his way, were not finished with their summer recruitment programme.

Today, it appears that might exactly be the case.

Speculation, as confirmed by the BBC, suggests that a deal is almost done that would see the Arsenal defender, Calum Chambers, come to Craven Cottage, on a loan deal.

According to our referenced source, the deal has been agreed by the clubs and all that remains is for personal terms to be agreed with the player.

Arsenal are happy to send the player out on loan as they know that the 23-year-old will get regular first-team football, something that he cannot be sure of at the Emirates Stadium.

Last season, Chambers played 12 times in the Premier League for Arsenal, a figure he’ll be sure to exceed with Fulham.

Here at Vital Fulham, we’re delighted that the club continues to show the ambition needed to make a mark in the Premier League and Calum Chambers will prove to be a decent asset, once personal terms have been agreed.
