Times have definitely changed!
As a youngster I can recall when the same starting eleven used to take to the field of play time after time.
The only time anything changed was either due to a suspension or an injury, I can also recall when teams were only allowed one substitute.
But it is a squad game, rotation is the order of the day and squads are a lot larger these days.
However, despite the increase in squad size does anyone else find it alarming that the inclusion of Diarra in our starting eleven at Villa Park yesterday meant that Fulham Football Club had used a mammoth 38 different players this season which, in itself, is a Premier League record.
