Now can we put that game to bed?

Having been soundly beaten, 5-0, by a rampant Brighton and Hove Albion side, down at the Amex Stadium, just over a week ago, we thought we`d put that particular sorry episode of our season to bed.

But it appears there was one last thing to be dealt with before that was to be the case.

It seems that Fulham Football Club were charged by the Football Association for failing to ensure that their players acted in an orderly fashion during the thrashing.

It seems it was a charge that the club admitted based on the facts relating t the players surrounding the referee, Andy Woolmer, when he gave Brighton a penalty following a foul on the on loan Manchester United striker James Wilson, just before the half-hour mark.

As a punishment, the Football Association have handed Fulham Football Club a fine of the magnitude of £5,000.
