Could another veteran keeper be about to join Fulham!

With Anti Niemi getting on a bit and Kasey Keller no spring-chicken, it`s a little surprising to read this morning that we`re, reportedly, chasing another approaching the veteran stage.

If the reports are correct then Lawrie Sanchez is interested in signing Marcus Hahnemann from Reading.

At thirty-five, the American is surely in the twilight of his career, a fact that seems to be highlighted by Reading refusing to offer the stopper an improved deal after talks reputedly broke down last month.

If Hahnemann is to return to Craven Cottage in the January transfer window, he`ll resume a Fulham career that started in 1999.

On a lighter note, al lit would take now would be the signing of Tim Howard, from Everton, from Fulham for Fulham to have the best three American keepers around!
