The signing of Lee Cook was heralded, by many, as a good achievement by the previous incumbent of the Fulham managers` job, Lawrie Sanchez.

However, after paying Queens Park Rangers close to £2.5 million, Cook thanks to a series of injuries, has never had the chance to get his Fulham career up and running.

At present, in order to gain some valuable match practise, Cook is on loan at Charlton Athletic. However, we fear that with the arrival of the Chelsea wonder-boy, Scott Sinclair, Cook`s chances of sustaining any regular football have reduced.

However, respite may be on hand. The tabloids are today suggesting that Cook could, in the summer, be returning to Queens Park Rangers.

Rangers, now guided by three of the richest geezers in Europe, have money to burn, therefore, can we suggest to our football club, that if Cook does return to Loftus Road, we at least scam almost as much money as they scammed us for and don`t let him return on the cheap.

Or is that too much to ask for?

  • Let`s face it, we`re bound to “give” him away. He probably doesn`t even WANT to play for us and even IF we go down i don`t think we want him either, i hope he goes back from whence he came, the new “invisible man”.

  • Ohh and another two points… i mean thing…. do you know that Mittal is twice as rich as Abramovich and he’s the Fourth richist man on the planet….. does anyone know Warren Buffet’s phone number?

  • oh yep we would love him back but how much you want for him might be the sticking poiint

  • My mate had a bit of inside info on Cook. His girlfriend’s friend knows Cook and is his mate. I was told a while ago that Cook wanted to go back to QPR so it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if he was on his way back to them soon.

  • not sure you can wind merlin up with the rich thing – he worked out a while ago that Mittal only owns a percentage of QPR whereas Rich Roman has sole control of Chelsea! Saying that we’ll no doubt let him go for a paltry fee!
