Chris Coleman has hinted that he is ready to overhaul his underachieving side in the summer with the backing of Mohammad Al Fayed’s cash.
After a poor season which see’s the Cottagers lying 16th in the Premiership table and without a league win away from home Al Fayed has promised to splash the cash in order to make Fulham more of a force next season.
Speaking after the abandoned Sunderland game on Saturday, Coleman told Skysports.com: ‘In the summer we’re going to invest some money into the team, which is great news.
‘We’ll invest in the summer, the chairman is on board with that, so we’ll ignore all the outside talk, (with regards to his own future).
Rumours had started to circulate that Coleman might not have a guaranteed job after this season but this should come as reassurance to the fans that the club are looking at the long-term future and not just a quick fix.

Im sure we can sell you some more of our drop outs, Andy ried or gardener, going cheap!
if andy reid is floating around doing nothing i`m sure we`d have him back to get the balls out of the stand etc
lose the dead wood and look to bring in quality , not sure how much CC has to spend though .
How about we don’t have players that will take us backwards. One top quality centre back and one young striker could make all the difference.
Is Mr F still prepared to spend money, or has CC got to sell before he can buy?
