Following on from the stick dished out by the supporters to the England team in Barcelona, Chris Coleman took time out to discuss several issues.

Amongst these are that stick, the financial packages players earn and our criticism of the team for their abject display at the JJB Stadium last week.

Here`s what he had to say,

“The England lads get a massive amount of money an when they come up against a team of estate agents, fans expect them to win 6-0. If they don`t they get upset.”

“That`s quite right because they pay a lot of cash to watch a game.”

“Premiership players get paid such a lot that, if they are clever, they can get one contract and never have to work again in their lives”

“A section of our supporters have been unhappy with some of the recent performances”

“Maybe some of our supporters are thinking it is time for a change in my position.”

“I said that when I took over that I had a five-year plan to stabilise the club in the Premiership, get back to and redevelop Craven Cottage and improve the training ground”
