Clint ready but good enough?

Speaking to Fulhamfc.com, Clint Dempsey said, ‘ When a new manager comes in you always wonder how you`re going to fit into his plans and even more so for me as I only joined in January,’ which is true as a new manager wants to have his own squad and wants the team to play the way the manager wants it.

‘ I definitely feel like I have the ability to play from the start in games,’ said Clint, ‘ We have a lot of talented midfielders to choose from, everyone wants to play and I just hope I am one of them! ‘ he added.

On the new season and whether Fulham can achieve a high finish, Clint had this to say, ‘ It`s a fresh start and we certainly intend to take this opportunity and make it work this season. ‘

I believe Clint will struggle to hold down a place in this squad this season as although he is skillful, his work rate has a lot to be desired for.
