This Saturday, Fulham will be making their first-ever appearance at the new Wembley Stadium.
The Cottagers will be participating in a game that is often described as the fixture that has the richest prize available for the winner, the Championship Play-Off Final against Aston Villa.
Some 35,000 Fulham fans will make their way up Wembley Way hoping that their side can realise their ambition of regaining the Premier League place they lost what seems an age ago.
Ahead of the big clash, a fixture that will be played out in front of a full-house at Wembley, whilst also being shown to millions, via TV, around the globe, we’re able to bring you the names of those chosen to officiate what could, quite possibly, be the most significant fixture in our recent history:
• Referee – Anthony Taylor
• Assistant Referee – Gary Beswick
• Assistant Referee – Dan Cook
• Fourth Official – Kevin Friend
• Reserve Assistant Referee – Eddie Smart
Anthony Taylor is no stranger to officiating at Wembley Stadium, his last appointment being the FA Cup Semi-Final between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, in April.
Last season he took 38 games in all competitions, fixtures that included Premier League and Champions League games.
Here’s hoping he has a good game on Saturday as Fulham march on to the Premier League.
