Our participation, in the Capital One Cup, begins tonight with a difficult looking second round tie.

Fulham will travel to Burton Albion tonight aware that this competition often sees, at least once each round, a David knocking Goliath out.

Martin Jol, we suspect, will make several changes to the starting eleven he`s fielded for the opening two Premier League games with the Capital One Cup renowned as being a competition where the Premier League clubs field weakened teams full of fringe players and youngsters.

Now I`ve no idea what starting eleven Jol will opt for and with the first team squad already hit by injuries to Stekelenburg and Richardson we`re tempted to suggest that the starting eleven might contain a sprinkling of familiar faces so that the possibility of a shock defeat can be averted, after all, we don`t want to wake up on Wednesday morning the victims of a cup shock do we now!
