Jimmy Bullard grabbed his first goal after his long injury lay-off to give Fulham a vital win over Aston Villa – and earned himself a place in the Team of the Week in The Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Barclays Premier League.

Bullard picked up 51 points from the 0-0 draw at Bolton and the win over Villa – his first two Premier League starts of the season – to make him the joint highest scoring midfielder of the week, alongside Arsenal duo Mathieu Flamini and Cesc Fabregas.

The former Wigan man spent the best part of 18 months on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury and is starting to climb the index leaping 177 places this week. Team-mates Simon Davies (46 points) and Brede Hangeland (41 points) also joined the midfielder in the Actim Index team of the week.

Davies is the Cottagers` highest-ranked player in the Index in 36th place, with Clint Dempsey (84th) the only other man of Roy Hodgson`s squad in the top 100.

Analysis of all Premiership games is taking place throughout the season and the players in the Actim Index Team of the Week are:
