Luis Boa Morte has admitted that despite enjoying life at Fulham he is open to the possibility of moving elsewhere if an offer comes in.

Boa Morte has been in good form for Fulham this season and his leadership has helped to ensure that Chris Coleman’s side can build on this season despite a spate of injuries.

Boa Morte, 28, scored both Fulham’s goals in the 2-1 weekend win over Charlton at Craven Cottage.

He has been at the club since the summer of 2001 after impressing on a season-long loan deal from Southampton and scoring 21 goals to help Fulham clinch promotion to the Premiership.

He was rewarded this season when Coleman handed him the captain?s armband and he has taken on the responsibility of hauling the Cottagers through a difficult season.

But despite Coleman’s faith being shown in him, Boa Morte told O Jogo: ‘Every player has his price.

‘If it was a good deal for me and for the club, why not?’

It is grave news for Coleman that one of his most senior players is seemingly inviting offers from other clubs.

Worse still, Papa Bouba Diop was quoted only last week in The Sun saying that despite him signing a new contract with Fulham, it did not necessarily mean he would be staying in West London.

These are testing times for Chris Coleman’s managerial ability. He has money to spend in the transfer market this summer, but if he is to spend he must first hold the team together, or else leave himself with nothing to build on at all.
