Fulham made it two away victories on the bounce with a deserved win at St Andrews this afternoon.
Mark Hughes shuffled his pack for this fixture. With Chris Baird suspended Philippe Senderos came into the back four whilst Greening was given a midfield spot. Up front, Andrew Johnson and Bobby Zamora were paired together.
Fulham started well and Clint Dempsey almost gave the away side an early lead firing over from close range. But, in a great start, Fulham did take the lead with only five minutes gone through Brede Hangeland. The goal came after Foster turned a huge kick from mark Schwarzer behind for a corner and the tall Norwegian jumped highest to head home the resulting corner kick.

Andrew Johnson had a glorious chance to double Fulham`s lead but only succeeded in heading the ball just the wrong side of the post from a Jonathan Greening cross. Fulham`s dominance continued when Steve Sidwell went on a surging run but shot straight at Foster.
All the best work continued to come from Fulham and Bobby Zamora rattled the post with a header from a Jonathan Greening cross. But all that good work nearly came undone when a Parnaby cross was met by Jiranek only for his effort to hit the post.
Half Time – Birmingham 0 Fulham 1
Fulham started the second half well and Bobby Zamora missed a great chance to double the lead by heading straight at Foster. But that second goal wasn`t long in coming when Brede Hangeland scored his second of the game.
The away side had gone close through Bobby Zamora and Steve Sidwell, who struck the post, before a corner saw Bobby Zamora fail to net only for Brede Hangeland to smash it home from close range.
Birmingham 0 Fulham 2 (Hangeland – 49 mins)
Almost straight after the goal Hughes replaced Bobby Zamora with Eidur Gudjohnsen. With a two goal advantage Fulham were looking comfortable and Birmingham, for all their huffing and puffing were not creating chances as they headed towards a final day relegation battle.
