Whilst scanning through the papers today I found a bit of gossip that actually made me smile!! The article suggested Fulham want to keep Manchester City’s giant goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson in England.
The Swede is leaving City on a Bosman and has courted interest from Turkey in recent months. However Roy Hodgson is seeking talks with Isaksson about a move to London.
Why does this make me smile? Well, I have been saying to my other football crazy friends for the majority of this season, that I would love to see the big Swede at the Cottage. I have always rated him as a brilliant keeper and when Man City signed him I thought they had done some good business! However for some bizarre reason he never really got much chance.
So if this little bit of transfer gossip does turn into something then well done Roy!!
