With our plight now looking desperate as Fulham look set to spiral head first through the relegation trap-door, making an instant return to the Championship, after just one season in the top-flight, we have an interesting question for you to ponder over.

Since regaining our Premier League status, albeit courtesy of that magical day at Wembley in May, the managers’ office, at Craven Cottage, has seen three occupants.

Slavisa Jokanovic was, quite rightly, in charge at the start of the season, before being replaced by Claudio Ranieri.

The Italian, despite his best endeavours, couldn’t stop the rot and was himself axed after just 106 days in charge.

At the moment, the fans choice, Scott Parker, is doing his utmost to try and delay the previously mentioned inevitability.

However, despite being out of the game since his axing by Fulham, Slavisa Jokanovic could be set for a return to management.

Despite, being in the play-off places, West Bromwich Albion, surprisingly, axed their boss, Darren Moore.

Seemingly, according to the news source, the Telegraph, Jokanovic is the prime candidate to fill the vacancy at the Hawthorns and is set to hold further talks with the club.

Which brings, me round full circle to that previously mentioned question.

Are you of the opinion that, given further time, Jokanovic might have turned the club around and we just might be in a better position than we are now?

  • Yes Jokanovic should have been given more time, he deserved to get it and should still manager but history is done, we should now eat a very large slice of humble pie and go get him back we are going back to the championship, he knows all the players and besides I think he is waiting to be asked.
Only FFC Could pull this off so come Shahid….be the big guy!!

  • Slav was sacked prematurely after our most promising performance at Liverpool. Had no-one noticed that the team always started slowly and then he got them to gel and win games!!!!

He won’t come back but any sane fan would welcome him.

  • Slavisa Jokanovic is excellent for the championship but has naive ideas over the premier league.Has only plan A which works in the championship and no plan B.In thechampionshop we had more of the ball position but in the premier league the tempo is much higher Balcirculation and you get more technic players p.e hazard ,willian salah etc.How can you get two goalkeepers who dont speak Enlish and are linekeepers and have no authority. Many kind regards Lou Koopman

  • I think we should not have sacked slavisa because he was the guy who put us in the premier league with a fun football, he had little time and I think he did not give the players he wanted.
In the champioship also did not give the players that he wanted and all to see that our team started slow
I think Fulham needs to change his transfer department and bring Slavisa back COYW!
    Bring back slavisa !!

  • Chaotic campaign transfer. Inability to play players during the preparation period. It’s like the owners did not want to play the Premier League.
