The quest to keep Moussa Dembele at Craven Cottage is beginning to look to be a lost cause.

In the face of major interest from the Turkish outfit Galatasaray, Fulham, reportedly, tried to tempt Dembele to stay by offering the French teenager improved terms.

However, with several Premier League clubs already eager to acquire his services, with Tottenham Hotspur having almost succeeded in the January transfer window, matters haven`t been helped with Arsenal, according to the Daily Star, now showing an interest.

Eager to boost his striker contingent, Arsene Wenger is waiting to hear whether the Leicester City striker, Jamie Vardy, will be moving to North London now his release clause has been met.

Dembele, who formed a successful strike partnership with Ross McCormack last season netting 15 goals in the Championship, will be a huge loss to Fulham, but despite being an optimistic person, I can`t see Dembele lining up in a Fulham shirt next season, can you?
