Another Game, Another Defeat, But There’s Still Hope For Fulham

|

Another Premier League game and another defeat for Fulham.

These really are worrying times for Fulham supporters who have seen their side win just twice in the opening seventeen matches of the 2018 / 2019 season.

Yesterday, the latest Premier League defeat came at the hands of West Ham United courtesy of two goals conceded in the first half, thereby continuing our appalling record of not having kept a clean sheet all season.

After the game, Claudio Ranieri spoke to the media, and as reported by the BBC, had this to say about the game:

“They scored very easily twice. A counter-attack, we have to stay calm and we run to get the ball and that’s not right.”

Conceding goals does appear to be our Achilles heel with forty-two conceded in seventeen games and it is something we have to address.

But, despite our appalling points total, all is not lost, we are only three points adrift of safety, we’ve not been cut adrift of the pack and there is hope and whilst there is hope we have to believe the situation can be turned around.
