Ipswich boss Jim Magilton says he could still target David Healy if he became available. The Town manager is a huge admirer of Healy, who he tried to bring on loan to Portman Road last season.
Magilton said: “I have been linked with him a few times over a period of time and I have never made any secret of my admiration of him. Why would I?
“He hasn`t transferred his international form to club level though and scoring goals for Northern Ireland shouldn`t be enough for him.
“David is good enough and should want to score goals in the Premier League, but it`s up to him to do that.
“I would love him to be a big success in the Premier League, but if he isn`t and he is made available by Fulham, then I would be crazy if I wasn`t interested in bringing him to Ipswich.”
Nice to see we could still get something for Healy. Maybe we can sell him to raise funds for a new striker?
