An Apology?

Anyone remember, back in the summer, when Clint Dempsey had his head turned by Liverpool?

At one stage it seemed that Clint, who had already decided it was time for a move, was going to join the Anfield club.

As it turns out, Clint surprised us all, after Liverpool`s interest in the player came to nothing, by moving to White Hart Lane.

At the time, there were suspicions doing the rounds that Liverpool`s approach wasn`t all it should have been with the words ‘tapping-up` appearing in more than one newspaper article.

However, now that the dust has settled, it appears that Liverpool, according to the Daily Mail, the Anfield club has issued an apology.

I can`t help thinking, now we`re further down the road, that it is all much ado about nothing now!
