Glimpsing a few photographs from the unveiling of Martin Jol as our new manager and with Mr Al Fayed looking suitably pleased, our initial reaction is that the club is in safe hands.
Mr Al Fayed, judging by his words, appears to agree with our consensus of opinion and gave the attending media a few thoughts commenting,
“Martin understands my vision for the club and believes in what we are striving to achieve here.”
“I know he will dedicate himself to helping us move forward and is with us for the long term to help us build and progress.”
“We have enjoyed three incredibly successful years and my hopes and dreams are for that journey to continue.”
