A Trip To The Lions Den Beckons In The Carabao Cup As Dreams Of Wembley Start To Gather Momentum

This Tuesday evening, Fulham will make the short trip across London to take on Millwall in the 3rd round of the Carabao Cup.

After beating Exeter City in the previous round, Fulham avoided drawing one of the big guns of the Premier League but were handed a difficult looking tie away to Millwall, South-East London is not the most welcoming of places on a dark midweek evening.

For this tie, we fully expect Slavisa Jokanovic to shuffle his starting eleven, with the boss giving a chance to those who are often on the fringe of things and also a few young players.

The Carabao Cup is, as we always harp on about, one of only two domestic cup competitions that lead to an appearance in a Wembley Final.

Here at Vital Fulham, we’re always impressing upon our readership the fact that we believe the club should have aspirations of trying to win the competition, we’re guessing our starting eleven, on Tuesday night, will give an indication of the clubs’ view on that matter.
