A Quick Round Up!

Apologies for the lack of service yesterday but it was one of those days!

Unfortunately, it was one of those days when a virus laid the editor low and saw him become quite good friends with the bathroom porcelain. Thankfully, he`s a little better now so some sort of normal service can fortunately be resumed.

Thankfully, we didn`t miss much.

Our reserve game against Portsmouth was postponed which sadly prevented both Simon Elliott and Philippe Christanval from getting in some much needed match practice as they seek to return to first team duty.

Hilariously, looking through the Evening Standard, they carried a piece suggesting that Elliott would recover form his cruciate ligament injury just in time for the end of the season but wouldn`t be fit enough to play any part. Surely, it would have been easier to suggest he`d be back next season?

Elsewhere, Roy Hodgson has once again been talking about that fabled forty point survival mark suggesting that such is the lack of quality in the lower regions of the division that as few as thirty-five or thirty-six points would be enough to keep us in the Premier League!

So a question for all you budding mathematicians out there, just how many points do we need to get out of our remaining nine games?

It`s good to be back!
