From an article I chanced upon discussing players in training and how they perform in training transfers to a match situation. There was a little snippet about our new man Etuhu.
Glenn Hoddle discusses, there are players who are world-beaters in training, but not in matches. ‘Dickson Etuhu, who I had at Preston, was fantastic in training, but not so good in matches. Roy Hodgson rang me about Etuhu. I said, ‘If you can get him to play for Fulham the way he does in training, and I think with your experience you can, you have got the next Patrick Vieira’.’
So it`s quite simple, Roy gets Etuhu to play like he got Kamara to do so and we have our midfield problem solved!
Easy!
