With Martin Jol sidelined with a chest infection, Billy McKinlay was in charge of the first team squad yesterday.
But having slipped to a 4-0 thrashing, Billy uttered the immortal lines, at his press conference, about meeting back up with the boss,
“I`m not looking forward to that conversation.”
“If you concede poor goals you lose games and Everton thoroughly deserved their win.”
Mind you, with that awful record at Goodsion Park hanging over our heads, did we really expect anything from the fixture?
