The, hopefully, rise and rise of the young Fulham defender, Matthew Briggs, continues tonight.
With the Premier League under lock and key this weekend, those of our players who are considered good enough to represent their country, will be doing so.
This weekend sees a round of Euro 2012 play-offs as UEFA milks every last penny out of a competition that is a poor relation to the cherished World Cup.
Elsewhere though, the full internationals are accompanied by the useful plethora of U21 fixtures, the most interesting for me being the tussle between England and Iceland tonight.
