The grapevine suggests that a bid of £10 million has been lodged for the striker with the Catania sporting director, Pietro Lo Monaco remarking,
“I can confirm the strong interest from England for Maxi Lopez, and indeed there is a Fulham offer.”
“But we are still evaluating potential developments here in Italy.”
